During WWII, Camp Toccoa functioned as a paratrooper training site for the unit depicted in the HBO series “Band of Brothers.” Camp Toccoa is being restored to celebrate the legacy of leadership of the men who trained there. Today, Currahee (stands alone) Mountain is a favorite hiking and rock-climbing site.
